Reflexology is an ancient art and science used to help restore health and balance, as well as relax and revitalize the body. Different points on the hands, feet, and ears represent reflex points that correspond to different areas and organs in the body. Working these reflex areas helps maintain or restore proper functioning of the body by signaling the body to work towards balance, or homeostasis.

Katharina became a registered polarity practitioner and opened her own practice in 2007. She studied the work of Dr. Randolph Stone, the founder of polarity, with her teacher Barbara Joseph. Katharina works with clients of all ages, helping them to resolve imbalances that have accumulated from stress, trauma and injuries, both physical and emotional. Polarity is based upon the concept of energy movement in the body. Energetic techniques include light to firm touch, gentle rocking and stretching, reflexology and acupressure points. The client remains fully clothed during a session, which lasts about 1 hour 15 minutes.
In her practice, she draws from over 30 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and from 15 years as a hospice volunteer. She is a Reiki Master and incorporates Reiki into her sessions. She focuses on creating an environment of safety and trust, where it is possible for her clients to reach deep within themselves and access their own truth, their own wisdom, their own knowledge to find greater health and well-being.
