Jeri Wilson, believes in trying to live her yoga practice on and off the mat. She's a nationally certified teacher, having completed her 200 and 500-hour certifications, and has been teaching since early 2005.
She has done extensive training in mindfulness meditation and teaches Mindfulness classes regularly with her husband, psychologist Jeff Matranga. Jeri is a grounded and inspiring teacher and is adept at teaching all levels of classes, including Yin. She draws from over 20 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, offering detailed instruction in alignment and guiding her students through postures with ease and vitality. Jeri's teaching style is clear and concise as she encourages her students to listen to their own bodies and create a practice which will result in self-acceptance and joy. She enjoys using her therapeutic background to assist students privately who may desire specific guidance around their own yoga practice. She is grateful to be able to teach in such a beautiful space and thanks her teachers for their guidance, her students for helping her continue to learn, and her husband Jeff and sons, for their love and support on her path.
