Beth Jones

Beth's taught classes at School Street Yoga for several years, leading classes in Kundalini yoga, hatha yoga, yoga nidra meditation, chakra yoga and in the Trauma Center's trauma sensitive yoga method. Her specialty classes focus on mantra, meditation and freeing up space in the body through a practice that encourages micro-movement and choice-making. 

A long-time member of the Family Violence Project (FVP) treatment team for domestic violence and addiction recovery, she teaches regularly at a FVP shelter, Day One Recovery, and SASSMM programs, and she offers unique workshops in trauma-informed principles for yoga teachers and in self-care for service providers & family members suffering from vicarious trauma. She's also a contributor to Yoga Service Council's upcoming text Best Practices in Yoga for Survivors of Sexual Trauma.
