At School Street studio we believe that each individual is unique and will have different needs and desires within their mind, body and spirit. We also believe that there is a form of yoga that will benefit you. To help you find it we try to bring various styles of yoga in the form of workshops, trainings, and specialty class series.

  • If cancelled before 3 days of the workshop, a full refund will be issued.
  • If cancelled within 3 days of the workshop, no refund will be given unless we are able to fill your spot.

Beth Jones will guide you in a supremely gentle yoga experience, as Ellie Begin lulls you with the beautiful sounds of her cello. Yoga Nidra, a form of meditation done lying down in savasana for one hour, is a deep yogic experience. If you experience chronic or occasional low back pain, a yoga practice that supports healing and wellness in the spine is essential. Join Terry as she brings the focus to supporting and facilitating the healing process in your back. Explore props and modifications to apply to your regular yoga classes and simple pranayama (breath) techniques to assist in managing pain. Practice gentle yoga postures to build strength, stability and flexibility in your low back in your yoga practice and daily life. If you are suffering from an acute injury, speak with your doctor before attending.

Reiki translates as spirit energy, you can think of it as universal energy. The Reiki process is light hands-on healing technique as developed by Dr. Mikao Usui. The energy generated in the process can be used to harmonize and balance the body and mind of oneself and others.

If you are a bodyworker, yoga teachers, caregiver, doctor, nurse, acupuncturist, anyone in the healing arts.... the people you serve can benefit tremendously by adding reiki to your skill set.

The Yoga: Move, Mantra, Meditate, Mudra
Here is a yogic wakeup call! Using time tested practices, running the gamut from Movement and Asana - rousing the connection between body and mind; Mantra - tapping open our hearts with sound and breath; Mudra and Meditation - training our attention towards the obvious (Sthula) and Subtle (Sukshma) and observing waves of direct experience. The aim of our time together is to awaken to the richness of our natural life in this moment. This class is appropriate for everyone! 
CEU credits are available.
