At School Street studio we believe that each individual is unique and will have different needs and desires within their mind, body and spirit. We also believe that there is a form of yoga that will benefit you. To help you find it we try to bring various styles of yoga in the form of workshops, trainings, and specialty class series.

  • If cancelled before 3 days of the workshop, a full refund will be issued.
  • If cancelled within 3 days of the workshop, no refund will be given unless we are able to fill your spot.

Yoga NidraSaturday, September 18 at 2 PM - 3:30 PM 

Relax the nervous system with this deeply therapeutic practice. 

Yoga Nidra is an art of conscious relaxation, a guided form of physical and mental relaxation that gradually takes us down through the different depths of the body: physical, emotional, and mental. Ultimately, we reach a profound state of rest that straddles the line between wakefulness and sleep. Yet we remain throughout fully aware and alert. 
At the beginning of a Yoga Nidra session, Christiane Guillois will guide us to sense our physical body and become aware of the world around us and within us. As we draw our senses inward and begin breathing in a way that induces relaxation, our thoughts gradually slow down, and we enter a world of tranquility. We emerge with our nervous system relaxed, in a restorative and regenerative state for mind and body alike.  
This workshop is sliding scale, please pay what you can.
In-Person at School Street Yoga (Limited to 12 students) $20/ $25/ $30
Online (live or receive a recording good for 48 hrs) $15/ $20/ $25
