At School Street studio we believe that each individual is unique and will have different needs and desires within their mind, body and spirit. We also believe that there is a form of yoga that will benefit you. To help you find it we try to bring various styles of yoga in the form of workshops, trainings, and specialty class series.

Saturday, December 14: 4 - 5:15 pm

Be prepared to become the light as the season of darkness rolls in with Inanna Sisters drumming us through yoga that will stimulate well-being and deeply reset the nervous system.  This will be so fun!  Bring a headwrap for meditations, a shawl & water bottle.  All welcome, no experience necessary. Rest when you need; observe or meditate throughout.  Winter solstice is the time for bringing ourselves into rhythm with quiet but first we move!                                                              Investment $35

Nancy Hathaway

Being mindful in relationship, as couple, mother/child, and in community brings presence, happiness, and wisdom. Joy, aliveness, and connection in everyday ordinary life are the side effects of practicing Mindfulness.

kids yoga

4 Saturdays // Kids Yoga series!

Starting Saturday, January 11 - February 1
1 - 1:45 pm for 3- 6 years old


In this playful class, children are invited to explore how yoga can awaken the mind, body, and spirit. Simple poses, crafts, games, stories, and creative movement will encourage self-expression, cultivate mindfulness, and create a sense of peace in even the littlest yogis.

About Teacher:
Sarah Dexter was a health and PE teacher for 25 years. As a preschool teacher, she ran a yoga program for children for 8 years. She is 200 hr YTT trained and Color Me Kids yoga certified. She has been practicing yoga for 25 years, and she raised four yogi kids too!

Yoga Nidra

Saturday, January 18 // 4 - 5:15 pm

Give the gift of self-care to yourself in the new year!  Beth Jones, ERYT, will guide you into a healing yogic experience, as the sounds of Ellie Begin’s classical cello lull you into an even deeper state of peace. Gentle stretching  & breath practice calm the mind and lay the groundwork for Yoga Nidra, a form of meditation done lying down, cocooned by props and blankets, in a luxuriously long savasana. Stilling the body, exercising the mind and then floating in a restful, quiet attitude can restore you, and balance your nervous system. A supremely gentle winter reboot.

Sundays: Starting January 19 - March 8  //  1 - 2:15 pm

Deepen your relationship to your own energy with this eight week series for the Chakras. 
This is a continuation of a chakra-focused set of exercises that include breath, energetic and restful timed movements, mantra and meditation. Rest is as important as movement in restoring and balancing chakras and energy over all. This is a whole systems experience! Come have fun with us! No experience necessary.

Friday from 5 - 6 pm.
