Physically, we will unpack an intermediate level arm balance and backbend to ground our attention (mind/consciousness) in the body. Where attention (mind) is held for a prolonged period of time awareness opens up and wisdom can be discovered. Using some select and shastra (scripture study) for guidance. Additionally, we open to the energetic heart space, using yogic breathwork, and learn to shift our vibrational frequency to tap the realm of spirituality.

With these three aspects of practice present in all of our yoga sessions we can work deeply all of the time regardless of what plane or plateau we find ourselves for the rest of our practice life. As we lean into the practices we can remember, yoga at its heart is a spiritual practice, this is key.

We are always growing, moving and changing, the sooner we realize that, the better.
