School Street offers yoga for all levels, including introductory courses to those unfamiliar with the practice.

HELLO YOGIS!

Welcome to this season of exuberant abundance — summer! While you are immersing yourself in cool Maine waters, working in your garden, reveling in the awe of a starry summer night, and enjoying the amazing summertime abundance that Mother Earth offers us, please include School Street Yoga in your *love* of summer abundance! We have all the good summer vibes to share with you! And we are climate-controlled for hot, humid, height-of-summer days.

We offer yoga classes 7 days a week in a variety of styles — Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, and Ashtanga Yoga. Also weekly Qigong/Tai Chi classes, yoga for kids classes, online classes, mat pilates, seated yoga, bodywork, and more.

Join us for a new online yin yoga class with Amy Benham. Amy will guide students through a calming practice designed to quiet the mind, open the body, and offer space to simply be. $14/online class, free with I 💚 Yoga.

School vacation time is here, and we have yoga for kids with Emma Goodrich on Saturday mornings! This playful class (pre-register or drop in) offers 4-10 year olds time to move, explore, and have fun expanding in mind and body! 

This month we are proud to once again be partnering with MIFF (Maine International Film Festival) in support of the wide array of excellent movies MIFF and Waterville Creates offers, July 10-19!

    Meet Our New Instructors

    Bri Soucy

    After venturing into the world of Pilates, Bri fell in love with the intentional, breath-focused practice.

    Bri’s personal love for the method inspired her to share it with others, and so she persued her 100-hour Mat Pilates Certification. Her classes at School Street offer a balance of both contemporary and classical Pilates, centered around alignment and the powerhouse.

    Thom Klepach

    Thom has been practicing yoga for 30 years. He was trained as an instructor of Ashtanga in the Mysore style in New Zealand from 2008-2010.

    Thomas offers an introduction to Ashtanga rooted in his deep understanding of the body. He encourages students to focus first and foremost on the pranayama, or breath practice, which forms the template and foundation for the asana and the higher meditative aspects of Ashtanga.

    Tyler Sewell

    Tyler’s yoga journey 15 years ago in Encinitas, CA, learning from incredible teachers who shaped his thoughtful, alignment-driven approach to practice.

    His classes are lighthearted but intentional, with clear cues, smart sequencing, and a focus on building real strength and resilience. Expect to move well, breathe deep, and leave feeling stronger and more at home in your body.

    i 💚 yoga for kids

    This program is for kids ages 4 – 10 and their families and friends who enjoy yoga! For $40 monthly with auto-pay, your little yogi(s) will have access to classes at the studio on Saturday mornings from 8:30 – 9:30 with Emma Goodrich. Plus, a new yoga for kids video class will be delivered every week to your inbox for your young yogi to practice solo or with friends and family!

    SSY Gift Certificates

    Our gift certificates are good all-year round and can be purchased in any dollar amount. It’s a thoughtful gift for School Street attendees and the certificates can be used to purchase regular classes as well as special events.

    Reiki Sessions with Certified Reiki Master

    Jackie Quigley is available for appointments at School Street Yoga! Reiki is a natural healing remedy using life force energy to support a greater sense of peace and wellbeing.
